Holistic education is a comprehensive strategy to restructure education in all its aspects: nature and content of the curriculum, the role of the teacher, students, and school administrators, fashion as the process of learning is focused, the strategy to completely restructure the educational system, the importance of the values and the nature of the intelligence. The holistic education is part of a movement that has shaken different paradigms with regard to education; Since 400 years ago this vision was dogmatic, taking as a central theme to the Church, which at that time which was had the global command, including the education. It was said that person who complies with its rules guaranteed is that it was going in the right direction. But like everything else, this way of educating the Church begins to wane, when not just one, but several are starting to criticize this way of educating and arises a cientifica-mecanicista vision, where the church became background since the assumptions of the Church were replaced by science; but unfortunately due to technological development it brought about a dehumanization, producing a loss in the sense of life and a depletion of the natural resources of our planet. Education holistic provides options creative and sometimes totally contrary to those laid down in this; which is composed of a set of common principles among which we can mention sustainability, responsibility, freedom, love, etc. Holistic education aims to educating for global citizenship which is only possible if there is respect for cultural diversity, we orient ourselves to form the human family, a community of interdependent, achieve unity by diversity. It is the whole experience, allowing us to recognize ourselves as belonging to the entire universe, the universal foundation of the human being. Spirituality is the deployment of universal values arising from the awakening of the consciousness to the misunderstanding that we are isolated egos through spirituality woke up to our true unconditional nature.
